How to make Chetinad Chicken
Step 1
Chetinad Chicken is a tasty, spicy dish that can be prepared without much effort with Raja’s Chetinad Chicken Masala. Here’s how the dish can be made. Wash the chicken in running water and clean thoroughly. Soak the chicken in some water , turmeric and salt to make it tender. Then drain the excess water.
Step 2
In a deep pan add in the finely chopped onions, curry leaves. Fry till the shallots turn golden. Add in the chicken & stir occasionally. Cook for 5 minutes. Add in the Raja’s Chetinad Chicken Masala . Mix well & let the spices coat the chicken pieces nicely. Cook for another 10 minutes.
Step 3
Add 1/2 cup of water, mix well. let it cook for 20 minutes and cover it with a lid. Keep stirring the chicken in between, add more water if required. Garnish with some tempered curry leaves, coriander leaves and roasted red chilies. Serve hot with Rice, Chapati or Appam.
